    Traffic Cases
    May 17 -- At 1:38 p.m., a non-injury accident occurred on New Lair Road within the city limits. Oma Doyle was backing out of her driveway when she accidentally struck a parked vehicle on 4th street.
    May 19 -- At 10:25 a.m., a non-injury accident occurred on KY 353 just over six miles from the city limits. Tyler Robling of Sugar Hill Lane reported that he had swerved to miss an oncoming vehicle, left the road and struck a mailbox.

    May 10 -- At 12:19 p.m., a non-injury accident occurred on KY 356 within the city limits. Brent Erwin of Louisville, KY was traveling north on the bypass when he decided to turn around. He was going to turn into a farm access road on the left hand side. Kristie Wiglesworth of Shaw Lane was traveling behind Erwin and thought he was pulling off the road and tried to pass on the left hand side of the road. Erwin turned into her.

  • Cynthiana Police Department

    May 1 -- At 2:26 p.m., James C. Dedman, 111 Oddville Ave.,reported that his Briggs and Stratton push lawn mower was taken from his front porch. The mower was later found at J&B Trading Post and had been sold for $25.
    May 1 -- At 11:53 p.m., police were called to Walmart for alleged shoplifters who had passed the last point of sale with an air conditioning unit, several clothing items all totaling $356.
