    Accidents
    May 24 -- At 7:39 p.m. a one-car injury accident occurred on Grays Run Pike, 7.7 miles outside Cynthiana. Bryce T. Henning, 16, was driving outbound from US 62 and lost control of the car while going around a curve. The car left the road and struck a plank fence. Henning told officers he had been driving too fast to negotiate the curve, and was charged with no operator’s license.

    Traffic Cases
    May 19 -- At 4.35 p.m. a non-injury accident occurred on U.S. 27 South approximately four miles outside Cynthiana. A car driven by Garrett Stovall of Old Lair Road collided with the rear end of a vehicle driven by Rodney Sosbe of Paris. Sosbe had slowed down after cars in front of him slowed due to a dog in the road. Stovall tried to avoid Sosbe’s vehicle, but was unable to do so.
