    Jan. 18 -- At 1:34 p.m., Tammy Swinford reported that forged checks had been drawn on an account for which she was power of attorney. Police are seeking charges against Jesse Swinford, who told police he had cashed the checks.
    Jan. 25 -- At 5:48 a.m., police were called to Shell Apple Market where an individual reached across the counter and took money while the cashier was waiting on customers. The man was described as a white male wearing a brown ball cap, a red hooded jacket and blue jeans.
