    Traffic Cases

    March 15 -- At 4:41 a.m., a non-injury accident occurred on Cook Road about four miles south of town. Timothy Hill was delivering newspapers when he lost control of his truck and struck a utility pole.
    March 15 -- At 10:21 p.m. a non-injury accident happened at 678 Smalley Branch Road nine miles east of the city limits. Heather Whitson’s car was sitting on a steep embankment when it began rolling backwards down the hill on its own, striking a tree.

    March 8 -- Amanda F. Hunt, 18, was arrested on U.S. 27 South at Walmart and charged with theft by unlawful taking under $500, shoplifting.
    March 8 -- Joseph D. Thomas, 40, was arrested on East Penn Street and charged with alcohol intoxication.
    March 8 -- Meloney A. Peck, 38, was arrested on East Penn Street and charged with alcohol intoxication.

    March 10 -- At 1:19 a.m., a non-injury accident occurred on KY 32 west about 8 miles outside the city limits. Kenean Blanton of 209 Keelridge Drive in Georgetown struck a deer.
    March 13 -- At 7:50 a.m., a non-injury accident occured on KY 1054 S. 10 miles north of the city limits. Noram McKee struck a deer.

    March 10 -- At 5:42 p.m., Donna Nelson of 37 Mudlick Road reported that someone had vandalized her property.

    TRAFFIC CASES
    March 1 -- At 4:20 p.m., a  non-injury accident occurred on KY 1032 E six miles outside the city limits. Teresa Reed of 127 Blake Lane, Berry, was traveling east when she overcorrected, went off the road and struck a plank fence.
    March 2 -- At 11:43 p.m., a non-injury accident occurred on KY 356 approximately 14 miles outside of town. Shuan Gill, 1366 Matthews Road, was traveling westbound on the snow-covered road when he lost control, slid off the road and crashed into the tree line.

    Feb. 19 -- At 5:23 p.m. a non-injury accident occurred in the roundabout at US 27 S. Kevin Thornberry of 2659 Ed Montoe Road, Falmouth, failed to yield the right of way to Bethany Cox, who was already in the roundabout. She struck the right front bumper of his car.
    Feb. 23 -- At 3:45 p.m. on US 62 Bypass S. three miles outside of town, Alson Cole of 343 Raintree Drive was involved in a non-injury accident when a deer stepped out in front of his car.

    Feb. 16 -- At 12:50 a.m., police received a call regarding a subject getting into a car he did not own on Walnut Street. There was nothing reported missing from the vehicle.
