    June 1 -- At 11:59 a.m., James W. Brooks, Third Street, reported that he had been assaulted by Alan Swinford while he was walking on First Street.
    June 1 -- At 7:27 p.m., Abby K. Clinard, 119 Marshall Ave., reported that some of her belongings had been stolen from her home while she was away. Police arrested Timothy Holloway and Shana Hoff, charging them with theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $10,000 and theft by unlawful taking under $500.

    Arrests, citations, warnings
    June 13 -- Johnny N. Nichols, 34, was arrested at 432 E. Bridge St. and charged with violation of an EPO, third-degree terroristic threatening.
    June 13 -- Michael E. Beagle, 44, was arrested on KY 3016 and charged with DUI, failure to notify state of address change and careless driving.
    June 14 -- Richard C. Walker, 39, was cited on U.S. 27 South for failure to maintain insurance, no registration receipt and no registration plate.

    May 28 -- At 5:22 p.m., Donna C. Palmer, 299 Nature Lane, reported that a house she rents on North Main Street had a window broken. She said nothing was missing from inside the home.
    May 27 -- At 3:35 p.m., police were called for a death investigation at 509 E. Pike St.

    Case reports
    May 27 -- At 4:35 p.m. Darrell W. Pugh of Oddville Sunrise Road reported that someone broke a window trying to enter his home, then took the broken glass into the garage. Pugh said he has been having problems with his son, who is not allowed at the home when his parents are not there.

    June 5 -- Joshua Corbin, 34, 725 Shaw Lane, was arrested on a warrant for first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
