    Jan.2 – At 1:38 p.m., police made a welfare check on a child on Church Street.
    Jan. 2 – At 2:32 p.m., police were called to Hardee’s regarding two counterfeit bills that had been passed during the lunch crowd.
    Jan. 2 – At 8:26 p.m., Julie Ecklar, Main Street, reported that a $4,000 diamond cluster ring was taken from her bedroom.

    Traffic Cases
    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.

    Jan. 1 – At 1 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on KY 1032. Robert Ducker was traveling on KY 1032 when he lost control and struck a fence and allegedly fleeing the scene.
    Jan. 7 – At 6:54 p.m., a non-injury wreck was reported on US 62 11 miles from town. Amber Powers was traveling on US 62 when a deer came into the roadway causing her to hit the deer.

    Case reports
    Dec. 20 – At 2:30 p.m., Glenda Gould of Smart Styles Hair Salon at Walmart reported that the cash drawer was repeatedly coming up short. Police reviewed security video with Gould.
    Dec. 22 – At 11:30 a.m., Tom McKee, Cook Pike, reported that someone had taken the guttering from his building at 123 E. Pike St.
    Dec. 22 – At 10:52 p.m., Ronald Newby, Crooked Creek Road, reported that someone broke into property at 155 N. Elmarch and vandalized and removed wiring.

    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.

    Dec. 14 – At 7:37 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on KY 36 two miles from town. Kasey Jett came upon some sod in the road causing her to hit the debris.
    Dec. 16 – At 10:30 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on KY 392 eight miles from town. Katlynn Wilson was traveling around a curve when she lost control and struck an earth embankment.

    Case reports
    Dec. 22 – At 4:51 p.m., Stephanie Bruin reported that her son had been assaulted while walking on Elm Street.
    Dec. 20 – At 4:14 p.m., Robert Moore reported that he left a phone card in his vehicle for his wife to put minutes to their phone. She later said the card was not there, but that she had given a ride to two individuals and believes one of them may have taken the card.

    Case Reports
    Dec. 3 – At 11:45 p.m., police were called to the area of Old Lair Road and Springdale where a prowler was reported to have been trying to get into a residence at 211 Old Lair Road. Police got out on foot and chased the suspect through a wooded area but lost site of him due to darkness and terrain.
