    Case reports

    Dec. 27 At 2:14 a.m., a Miller Street woman called to report that a prowler was outside her home. Police found where the prowler threw a cup of milk at the door.

    Dec. 27 At 3:30 a.m., Gene Keyse of Wal-Mart reported that numerous large-ticket items were shoplifted by an individual who came into the store, filled his cart with merchandise then pitched it over the fence in the garden area. Another man collected the items and put it in a get-away car.
