    Aug. 2 -- Chelsea C. Allison, 17, was cited for no operators license, failure to maintain insurance (non-owner), and license to be in possession while traveling West Pleasant Street.
    Aug. 2 -- David L. Buckler, 23, was issued a citation at South Poplar and West Pleasant Street for failure to maintain insurance (owner).
    Aug. 2 -- James A. Lewis, 32, was arrested on South Poplar Street for fleeing/evading police-second (on foot) and criminal trespassing-third.

    Aug. 5 – At 3:11 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on KY 392 five miles from town. Megan Bryant was traveling on KY 392 when she rounded a curve and over-corrected causing her to travel over an embankment.
    Aug. 3 – At 9:30 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on Twin Creek Road six miles from town. Ralph Baldridge was traveling on Twin Creek Road when he met Stephanie Mastin at a bridge and struck mirrors.

    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.
    July 29 – At 5:18 p.m., an injury accident was reported on Oddville Sunrise Road seven miles from town. Dennis Hyatt was traveling on Oddville Sunrise Road when a vehicle came into his lane causing him to run into the ditch-line and strike a tree before coming to a final rest.
