    Feb. 1 -- Bobby Wayne Hall, 42, was arrested on Walnut Street and charged with alcohol intoxication, contempt of court libel/slander resistance to order.

    Feb. 2 -- Charles A. Tucker, 24, was arrested on Pearl Street and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.

    Feb. 2 -- Nicholas R. Marcum, 16, was cited on Pike Street for failure to wear seat belt.

    Case reports

    Jan. 1 At 12:02 a.m., police arrested Anthony W. Kerr for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, menacing and terroristic threatening. According to the report filed by Sgt. Tim Wells, Kerr acted out violently during the arrest.Jan. 1 At 9:46 a.m., a report was made regarding an apparent break-in at the Clothes Closet and the Child Support office.

    Case reports

    Dec. 27 At 2:14 a.m., a Miller Street woman called to report that a prowler was outside her home. Police found where the prowler threw a cup of milk at the door.

    Dec. 27 At 3:30 a.m., Gene Keyse of Wal-Mart reported that numerous large-ticket items were shoplifted by an individual who came into the store, filled his cart with merchandise then pitched it over the fence in the garden area. Another man collected the items and put it in a get-away car.

    Dec. 9 ? At 6:20 p.m., Harold Coy, Elmarch Avenue, reported that someone entered the Elmarch home and drank beer, whiskey and slept in three different bedrooms.
