    Case reports

    July 18 At 10:44 a.m., Anna May Ishmael reported that someone entered a residence on North Elmarch and stole copper pipe and wiring.

    July 18 At 9:06 p.m., Larry Turner reported that a vehicle backed out of a parking space at Wal-Mart into another vehicle and took off at a high rate of speed. Officer watched the security video and found the suspect was Jeremy Stubblefield, who also had outstanding warrants from Bourbon County. Police arrested Stubblefield, who admitted striking the vehicle at Wal-Mart.

    Xavier Gene Allen Thompson was born to Ashley and Derik Thompson of Cynthiana on July 17, 2008 at Central Baptist Hospital.

    He weighed 5 lbs. 5 oz., and is welcomed by his brother Isaiah Thompson and sister Karlee Thompson.

    Maternal grandparents are Melba and Carl (Duke) Claypool of Berry, Ky.; maternal great-grandparents are the late Alma and Woodrow Jett.

    Paternal grandparents are Vickie and Larry Gene Taylor of Berry; paternal great-grandparents are Edith Thompson of Cynthiana, and Mildred Price of Covington, Ky.

    Carl Logan Bowling was born to Chad and Nancy Bowling of Brooksville, Ky. on July 8, 2008 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. He weighed 6 lbs. 6 oz., and is welcomed by his sisters, Della and Alyssa.

    Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Larry Herrington of Cynthiana and the late Della Jane Herrington.

    Paternal grandparents are Larry and Connie Bowling of Brooksville.

    Wyatt Elye Curtis was born to David Pierce and Jennifer Lynn Curtis of Mount Olivet, Ky., on July 29, 2008 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.

    June 10 -- Valley Restaurant, 96%, handles on drawers and cookers need to be maintained, shelving covered, ice scoop not properly stored, fountain collars need to be clean.

    June 17 -- Leesburg Grocery, 100% (retail), 97% (food) ceiling tiles in bad repair, shelving.

    June 19 -- China House, 91%, 5-gallon buckets need to be thrown out and not reused, back door needs seal, dry goods need to have containers and covers in place; food needs to be covered while in walk-in cooler, food has to be minimum of six inches off floor in walk-in.

    July 11 At 9:27 p.m., Christy Nickerson, Newsom Avenue, reported that while she was away from her residence, someone knocked her satellite dish down.

    July 12 At 12:44 a.m., David and Hannah Wolfe reported that they are being harassed by individuals on motorcycles.

    July 13 At 10:31 a.m., Kathy Spurlock, Webster Avenue, reported that her vehicle was taken without her permission.
