    Traffic Cases
    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.
    Jan. 13 -- At 3:35 p.m., a non-injury accident occurred on Kings Lane about eight miles west of town. John Elligsen of KY Highway 1842 was traveling north when he entered a curve too fast and lost control, running into a fence.

    Arrests, citations, warnings
    Jan. 11 -- Michael D. Harney, 44, was arrested on Bourbon County warrants for DUI (aggravated circumstances), failure to maintain insurance, contempt of court (two counts), one headlight, DUI 2nd (aggravated circumstances, possession of open alcoholic beverage in vehicle, operating on suspended/revoked operator’s license, fourth degree assault, domestic violence.
    Jan. 11 -- Aaron C. Newby, 23, was cited on Stokley Road for possession of marijuana and license plate not illuminated.

    Traffic Cases
    Jan. 4 -- At 2:51 a.m., a non-injury accident occurred on US 62 West seven miles outside of downtown. Timothy Emberton of Lexington struck a guard rail and disabled an Enterprise Rental Car.
    Jan. 5 -- At 8:19 p.m., an injury accident occurred on KY 36 W 1.5 miles outside of town. Joshua Stanfield of Cynthiana was traveling east when a deer entered the roadway. In his attempt to avoid the deer, Stanfield struck its hindquarters and went over an embankment. The driver was transported to Harrison Memorial for treatment of injuries.

    Case reports
    Dec. 3 -- At 9:48 p.m., Seth Smith of Walmart Loss Prevention, reported that he had stopped Michael Rison, Paris, who was attempting to leave the store without paying for a vacuum. Rison was charged with second degree criminal trespass and theft by unlawful taking under $500.
    Dec. 9 -- At 10:36 p.m., William T. Fryman, Pleasant Street, reported that he had lost his medication from his pocket somewhere between Oddville Avenue to Pleasant Street. He told police he backtracked but was unable to locate the bottle.
