    Sept. 4 at 7:50 a.m. -- A prowler was reported at a residence on McDowell Road.

    Sept. 5 at 8 p.m. -- A threatening phone call was reported on Gainesway Dr.

    Sept. 8 at 7:30 p.m. -- A report of threatening phone calls was made at a residence on Bobtown Road.

    Sept. 10 at 4:40 p.m. -- Gregory Sowder, 42, Ky. Hwy 982, Cynthiana, reported a burlgary second degree at his residence.

    Case reports

    Sept. 1 At 5:49 p.m., Ptl. Shannon Miller reported that he attempted to detain Stephen McElheny on two occasions for questions regarding his drivers license. However, McElheny allegedly avoided police twice. According to the report McElheny has numerous warrants for arrest out of Fayette County.

    Sept. 2 At 11:10 a.m., Ptl. Scott Loechel was on patrol on South Walnut Street when he was approached by a juvenile who has bleeding from a cut above his eye. The juvenile told police he had been assaulted on Old Lair Road.

    Aug. 26 at 9:22 p.m. -- Injury, Ky. 32 West, Joseph Conner, 34, Falmouth, driving a 2005 Honda Accord.

    Aug. 28 at 4:10 p.m. -- Injury, U.S. 62 East, Carolyn Gilbert, 61, Mt. Olivet, driving a 1994 Ford Expedition.

    Aug. 29 at 6:48 p.m. -- Non-injury, Ky. 1842 North, Randy Riley, 39, Cynthiana, driving a 1993 Ford Mustang; Dana Baird, 41, driving a 1991 Chevrolet S-10.

    Case reports

    Aug. 20 At 9:35 a.m., Diane McClain of Radio Shack reported that two subjects entered the store and purchased two batteries for a vehicle remote, cell phone and power adapter with a credit card then one of the subjects put another set of batteries in his pocket and left the store.

    Aug. 22 At 3:18 p.m., police were called to a domestic disturbance on Walnut Street.
