    Case reports
    Sept. 5 – At 12 p.m., Kathy Callahan, 411 E. Pleasant St., reported that she was involved in an argument with David Perry, who destroyed her property then left the residence.
    Sept. 5 – At 12:58 p.m., Joseph D. Thomas, 104 Millcrest Ct. reported that he had taken a .410 shotgun to Huston B. Everett to keep while he was away from his home. When he returned Everett would not give the gun back.
    Sept. 5 – At 4:49 p.m., police were advised of a possible physical abuse of a child.

    Collision Report
    Sept. 8 -- At 7:01 p.m. a non-injury accident occurred on KY 392 6.5 miles east of town. Diane Kinney was traveling east when she struck a deer that had crossed her path.
    Sept. 9 -- At 5:05 p.m. a non-injury accident occurred on KY 392 2.5 miles outside town. Logan Brown was traveling west when the car dropped off the side of the road. The driver over-corrected and went through a plank fence.

  • Cynthiana Police Department

    Case reports
    Aug. 25 – At 10:12 p.m., Garnett Bruin, 112 Bradford Drive, reported that a 1999 Dodge Caravan was stolen from his private lot on Meadow Lane. The theft occurred between Aug. 24 at 5 p.m. and Aug. 25 at 10 p.m. The van was found abandoned at the entrance to Country Club Estates on Aug. 26 at 12:40 a.m. Police are seeking a complaint through the county attorney’s office.
    Aug. 26 – At 3:14 p.m., Jared Flahardy reported knives and a handgun missing from his residence on Main Street.

  • Harrison County Sheriff's Department

    Traffic Report
    Aug. 28 – At 11:20 p.m., an injury accident occurred on KY 1032 seven miles west of downtown. Sierra Ritchie was apparently driving too fast over a hillcrest on the highway. Ritchie lost control, struck an embankment and cut through several trees. Ritchie and passenger William Banks were transported to Harrison Memorial Hospital. Ritchie was treated and released. Banks refused treatment.
