    March 4 – At 9 p.m., William Chambers reported that someone had slashed a tire on his truck while it was parked on Pike Street.

    March 2 – At 9:55 a.m., Estill Vaughn of Cynthiana Pawn and Jewelry reported the theft of jewelry, valued at $1,637.

    March 4 – At 2:31 p.m., Travis Cook, manager of Sav-A-Lot, reported a shoplifter in custody. According to the police report, Misty Turner was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking, shoplifting.

    CYNTHIANA POLICE DEPARTMENT

    Case reports

    Feb. 17 -- At 6:40 p.m., Gary Stith, pastor of the Webster Church of God reported that the church had been broken into on Feb. 5 and Feb. 6, when $1,040 was stolen. Stith also reported that the church was broken into again between Feb. 16-17, when suspects damaged church property and stole a computer monitor and two guitars.
