    Case reports
    Aug. 28 – At 6:41 p.m., police were dispatched to a reckless driving call on U.S. 27 around Mill Street. The suspected vehicle was located at Rev. Ross Park. According to the report, Diann Hicks became confrontational and was arrested. She was charged with alcohol intoxication, possession of marijuana and harassment, physical contact, no injury.

    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.

    Sept 7 – At 12:26 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on KY 36 West. Phillip Sexton was traveling on KY 36 when he lost control and partially exited the road and went over an embankment and hit several trees and came to a rest in a ditch line.

    Sept. 8 – At 8:45 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on US 62. Victoria Martin was traveling on US 62 and lost control in a curve and hit a guardrail.

    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.
    Aug. 30 – At 1:02 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on US 27. A Griffen Industry truck driven by John Taylor struck a cow that had entered the roadway.

  • Cynthiana Police Department

    Case reports
    Aug. 12 – At 8:30 a.m., Roger Brill of Steel Trailer on Abdallah/Waterworks Road, reported the theft of about $425 worth of steel from his property. Brandon Pennington was located at Randy’s Recycling attempting to sell property that had allegedly come from Steel Trailer. Pennington was  arrested and charged with receiving stolen property under $500 and theft by unlawful taking.
