    Case reports
    Oct. 3 – At 3:20 p.m., Willis Wagler’s vehicle was struck by a vehicle being driven by Stephanie Keene. The estimated damage to Wagler’s vehicle is $3,521. Keene had no insurance and neither did Raleigh Mack McKinley who sold the vehicle to Keene but did not have the title transferred. According to the report, McKinley and Keene are responsible for transferring the vehicle and that they both should have made sure the vehicle was insured.

    Traffic Cases
    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.

    Oct. 6 – At 6:01 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on Lower Curry Road. Robin Gloy reported to the sheriff’s office that someone had damaged her fence.
    Oct. 7 – At 6:37 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on Oddville-Sunrise Road. David Tumey was traveling on Oddvile Sunrise Road when a cow crossed in front of his vehicle causing him to hit the cow.

    Case reports
    Sept. 28 – At 2:02 a.m., police were called to a disturbance on First Street. Candis Mitchell was cited for disorderly conduct.
    Sept. 28 – At 3:06 p.m., Conrad Fritz reported that he had checks stolen from his home and that they had been written for $1,131.44 at Walmart. Warrants were issued for Chelsey Durbin and Shawn Whisman.
    Sept. 30 – At 8:35 a.m., Daryl J. Lail reported that a trailer was stolen from his yard at 27 Raintree Drive.
