    Accident Report
    Oct. 5 -- at 12:24 a.m. a non-injury occurred on Allen Pike 10 miles from town. Heather Durbin  lost control of her car, struck a tree and through a fence.
    Oct. 6 -- at 10:43 a.m. a non-injury accident occurred on KY 36 nine miles from town. Danny Kelley was driving on a rain-soaked when his car slid into the opposite lane and struck a car driven by Jeremy Slusher traveling in the other direction.

    Aug. 21 -- B&B Catering, prepping food at Avi’s, 100%.
    Aug. 22 -- El Paricutin, 95%, record temperatures (hot hold, prep table, cooking equipment),  miscellaneous items in storage should be properly stored, freezer needs to be maintained.
    Aug. 29 -- Angilo’s, 95%, floors, walls need to be cleaned around and between equipment, bottom of prep table around seals need to be cleaned, three compartment sink/sanitizer (cloths) clean, use restricted, lights must be shielded, temperature logs should list food items.

    Accident Reports
    Sept. 26 - at 5:53 p.m. a non-injury accident occurred on US 27 about 4 miles north of downtown. Trace Byrd was traveling north when he struck a deer crossing the highway. The deer went airborne and struck another car driven by Paul Simpson.
    Sept. 28 - at 4:40 p.m. an injury accident occurred on KY 36 about 15 miles. Lanny Setters was traveling east when his car just drifted across the road and into a ditch.

    Case reports
    Sept. 25 -- At 11:34 a.m., Betty Barker, 101 Robynwood Drive, reported that someone got into her Chevrolet Traverse while it was parked at her residence. Missing from the vehicle was an undetermined amount of change.
    Sept. 25 -- At 9:06 p.m.,  Seth Smith of Walmart security reported that he had detained Cheyenne Mitchell for shoplifting. Smith said he witnessed Mitchell conceal a mini back pack, mascara and nail polish.

    Case reports
    Sept. 15 – At 3:59 p.m., police were stopped regarding animal complaint at 136 Highland Ave. Officers found three Yorkies pinned in one small crate with water and no food. The dogs also appeared to be heavily infested with fleas. Animal control also seized a German Shepherd that had a bad flea problem and was undernourished. Police left the residence but went back later that night with Animal Control and seized the Yorkies. Owner Crystal Adams told police the dogs were outside in the crate because the house was being “bombed” for fleas.

    Accident report
    Sept. 19 - at 12:52 a.m. an injury accident involving a motor scooter occurred on KY 36 about four miles outside of town. Gordon Pickett was rounding a corner when he struck a chain link fence and was thrown approximately 20 feet into a wooded area. He was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center for treatment, but later died of his injuries.
    Sept. 21 - at 1:45 p.m. a non-injury accident occurred four miles outside town on Shady Nook Pike. Julie Cole swerved to miss a dog and ran into a culvert.
