    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.
    Nov. 10 – At 8:45 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on US 27 seven miles from town. Virgil Sumpter was traveling on US 27 when a deer jumped into the road causing Sumpter to strike the deer.

    Nov. 8 – At 8:40 a.m., an injury accident was reported on KY 36 two miles from town. Latoshia Shepperd was traveling on KY 36 when she attempted to avoid striking a stopped vehicle and hit a guardrail as a result.
