    Traffic Cases
    Aug. 22 -- At 1:55 p.m., an injury accident occurred on Ky. 1284 West about 14 miles north of the city limits. Ronny Borasch was traveling west when he saw an animal in the roadway and swerved to avoid it. The car left the road and eventually struck a tree. Both driver and passenger were transported to Harrison Memorial for treatment of injuries.
    Aug. 24 -- At 6:30 p.m., a non-injury accident occurred on Connersville-Twin Creek Road about seven miles west of town. Dustin Hardin backed into a parked car owned by Tyler Hardin.

    Aug. 23 -- David W. Baldwin, 42, was cited on U.S. 62 West for no/expired registration plate, no registration receipt and failure to produce insurance card.
    Aug. 23 -- Jason A. Oney, 32, was arrested on a Carter County warrant, charge unknown.
    Aug. 23 -- Cory H. Webber, 19, was arrested on Renaker Alley and charged with DUI, failure to notify state of address change, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Traffic Cases
    Aug. 16 -- At 4:59 p.m., a non-injury accident occurred  on Edgewater Road South about five miles south of the city limits. Shala Hutsell of Paris was making a left turn from U.S. 27 south when she lost control and struck a black plank fence.
    Aug. 17 -- At 10:04 p.m., an injury accident occurred on Ky. 1842 East about six miles west of town. Paul Fugate of Rocky Springs Road was traveling east when he left the road and struck a tree.

    Aug. 9 -- At 10:09 p.m., Joseph McElfresh reported that Misty McElfresh removed $140 from his wallet while he was picking up his children for visitation. Police located Misty McElfresh, who denied having taken anything from Joseph. She allowed police to search her purse and Ashley Richmond permitted a search of her vehicle.
