    Accidents
    July 1 -- At 9:12 p.m. a non-injury accident occurred on US 62 West 10 miles west of Cynthiana. Jessica L. Conley of Ky. 3004, Berry,  was driving east on 62 when her vehicle struck a deer.
    July 2 -- At 7:14 p.m. an injury accident occurred on Ky. 36, 14.5 miles west of Cynthiana. Crystal Howard of Ky. 1032 West, Berry, was traveling west on Ky. 36 when she lost control of the vehicle in a curve. The vehicle struck a tree and went into a spin, coming to rest facing east.

    Accidents
    June 18 -- At 5:17 p.m., a fatal accident occurred on U.S. 27 North, one mile north of Cynthiana. Sharri Kroh was traveling south toward town when she lost control of her vehicle, crossed the northbound lane, and struck an embankment. Kroh died shortly after arriving at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
    June 17 -- At 9:25 a.m., an injury accident occurred on U.S. 62 East, 2.1 miles east of Cynthiana. Briana Beagle was traveling east when the vehicle entered a curve, left the roadway and struck a telephone pole.

    Case reports
    June 1 -- At 11:59 a.m., James W. Brooks, Third Street, reported that he had been assaulted by Alan Swinford while he was walking on First Street.
    June 1 -- At 7:27 p.m., Abby K. Clinard, 119 Marshall Ave., reported that some of her belongings had been stolen from her home while she was away. Police arrested Timothy Holloway and Shana Hoff, charging them with theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $10,000 and theft by unlawful taking under $500.
