    Case reports
    Nov. 11 -- At 12:52 p.m., police were called to Walmart parking lot where an elderly man allegedly struck two vehicles while attempting to enter a parking space.
    Nov. 11 -- At 8:37 p.m., police were contacted by former Cynthiana officer Joshua Carter regarding an apparent reckless driver. Police made a traffic stop on Tabatha Newton, who was then arrested and charged with operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc. and failure to maintain required insurance.

    Traffic Cases
    Dec. 1 – At 11:50 p.m., a non-injury accident occurred on US 62 east six miles east of downtown Cynthiana. Cody Mather-Parrino of Barlow Road was travelling east when he lost control braking in a sharp curve on a rain-slick road. The car went down an embankment and came to rest in a small creek.
    Dec. 2 – At 4:25 p.m., an injury accident occurred on US 27 south three miles south of the city limits. Abby Cunningham of Ky 1284 was slowing down to make a turn when a car behind her, driven by Evelyn Hughes, hit the rear end.

    Arrests, citations, warnings
    Nov. 15 -- Jacob S. Ayala, 24, was arrested on North Church Street and charged with DUI, aggravated circumstances and failure to illuminate head lights.
    Nov. 16 -- Lisa Hurst, 50, was cited on North Walnut Street for failure/improper signal and operating with expired operator’s license.
    Nov. 16 -- Kenneth W. Herrington, 38, was arrested on two Bourbon County warrants.
    Nov. 16 -- Adolfo P. Villasana, 26, was arrested at 205 Broadway and charged with fourth degree assault, domestic violence.

    Traffic Cases
    Nov. 17 -- At 4 p.m., a non-injury accident on US 62 East   three miles from Cynthiana resulted in an arrest when one driver fled the accident scene. Lillian Martin of Melbourne was traveling east when she saw  a car driven by Jerrick Oldham of Mt. Olivet heading toward her. Oldham began to pass in a no-passing zone and struck Martin’s car. Oldham left the scene, but a witness to the incident continued to follow Oldham until law enforcement took him into custody.

    Oct. 19 -- At 7:02 p.m., police were dispatched to Kens gas station where a man had entered the store wearing a hooded sweatshirt and brandishing a knife. The man went around the counter telling the clerk to give him money. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
