    Traffic Cases
    May 11 – At 9:33 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on US 62 two miles from town. Linda Allen struck a deer.
    May 10 – At 7:06 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on KY 36 less than a mile from town. Jennifer Bowen dropped off the road and over corrected and exited the roadway completely and struck a section of fence and a tree.
    May 11 – At 9:33 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on US 62 five miles from town. Larry Bishop struck a deer.

  • Cynthiana Police Department

    Case reports
    May 4 – At 12:57 p.m., Patricia King, manager of Harrison House, reported that someone poured some type of liquid on the carpet in the front lobby.
    May 4 – At  1:51 p.m., police were called to Federal Drive where a 6-year-old boy had wandered away from his backyard and was at the park unattended. The sister was baby sitting and was contacted along with the mother.

    The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.

    May 3 – At 9:16 p.m., an injury accident was reported on Shadynook Pike six miles from town. Sean Florence lost control and went off the road causing him to hit a fence and become entangled in the fence.

  • Cynthiana Police Department

    Case reports
    April 18 – At 12:46 p.m., Sedrick Nelson reported that he had sold a motorized wheelchair on Craig’s List. He said he had received the check for $2,700 for the payment of the $800 wheelchair. The check was verified as a forgery. He was to advise the buyer when the check cleared the bank and he was to send $1,700 back to the buyer via Western Union. Nelson turned the check over to police.
    April 22 – At 10:34 a.m., Jie Lin of the China House reported that the Bridge Street restaurant was broken into overnight and about $800 taken.

    April 25 -- Harley P. Perry, 30, was issued a citation for speeding on US Hwy. 62 W and was also arrested for no operators/Moped license.
    April 26 -- Jeffrey T. Jones, 26, was arrested in Madison County on a warrant for false statement to to receive benefits over $100.
    April 28 -- Jeffrey Mosley, 23, was arrested on Court Street, Harrison County, on warrants for assault fourth degree (domestic violence) no visible injury and sexual misconduct.
