    Traffic Cases
    Dec. 12 – At 5:55 p.m., an injury accident occurred on Ky 1842 North about nine miles outside of the city limits. Darlene Smith of Georgetown was northbound when she failed to negotiate a curve in the road. The car left the road, crossed a driveway and struck a mailbox. Smith was taken to Harrison Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries.

    Case reports
    Nov. 22 -- At 1:57 a.m., police went to 108 Cromwell Alley to serve a warrant on Kevin Northcutt. Ashley Thompson answered the door allegedly telling police that Northcutt was not there. However, police heard his voice. Thompson then told them he was in the back bedroom. Northcutt was arrested on the warrant and Thompson was also arrested and charged with hindering prosecution.

    Traffic Cases
    Dec. 5 -- At 7:30 a.m., a non-injury accident occurred on Ky 1842 north just over seven miles from the city limits. Trevor Dixon of Ky 356 rounded a curve and lost control on a wet roadway.
    Dec. 5 -- At 11:22 a.m., a non-injury accident occurred on Ky 36 east three miles east of town. Jonell Barnes of Davis-Turkeyfoot Road in Sadieville was traveling eastbound when she said the steering quit working in her car. The car went off the right side and struck and embankment.

    Dec. 8 -- Charles M. Smith, 29, was cited on U.S. 27  South for no registration plate, no registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card and operating motor vehicle without operator’s license.
    Dec. 9 -- Jason S. Bennett, 34, was cited on Education Drive for no registration plate, no registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card.
    Dec. 9 -- Justin F. Kearns, 25, was arrested on Lincoln Avenue and charged with failure to/improper signal, DUI and disregarding stop sign.
