    Aug. 5 -- At 2:17 p.m., Lyle K. Fryman, 205 Hinkston Ave., reported that his Pollen weed trimmer was taken from his truck.
    Aug. 5 -- At 2:18 p.m., police were called to a Main Street apartment where William Whitis reported that some medications had been taken.

    Accidents
    Aug. 15 -- At 4:20 p.m., a non-injury accident occurred on U.S. 62 West three miles west of Cynthiana. Clinton E. Scolf of Morton Lane, Maysville, and Sarah C. Adams of South Hamilton Street, Georgetown, were both traveling east when Adams said a truck slowed to make a turn without using a turn signal, causing her to have to slam on the brakes. Scolf then rear-ended Adams’ vehicle.

    Arrests, citations, warnings
    Aug. 6 -- Martha A. Faulkner, 35, was arrested at 110 E. Penn St. and charged with first-degree trafficking in controlled substance, less than two grams of heroin.
    Aug. 6 -- Belve M. Hall, 58, was arrested at 108 Stone Ave., and charged with fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, minor injury and menacing.
    Aug. 7 -- Brian K. Evans, 42, was arrested on a warrant for violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO. He was also charged with alcohol intoxication and second-degree disorderly conduct.

    Accidents
    Aug. 7 -- At 6:35 p.m. a non-injury accident occurred on U.S. 27 4.3 miles north of Cynthiana. Richard C. Swearingen was driving north on 27 when he tried to pass another vehicle, lost control of his truck, skid across both lanes of traffic and left the roadway and struck a fence. Swearingen then allegedly left the scene, and was pulled over and arrested on several charges.
