Grants sought to aid with development of Flat Run Veterans’ Park

Noticeable development may be in store for Flat Run Veterans’ Park in the near future.

Cynthiana Harrison County Parks and Recreation director Brad Steele made his way to Frankfort Tuesday, April 30, to submit two grants that could generate approximately $180,000 to be used at Flat Run Veterans’ Park.

Teen arrested on 11 charges from year-old warrant

A 19-year-old Cynthiana man was arrested Monday on a year-old warrant that totaled 11 charges.

Sgt. Wilbur Gross made a traffic stop and was presented a license with the name Zachary Wells.

Police did some investigating and determined that Wells was the same person as Zachary Adams, who had outstanding warrants.
