Despite numerous reports on social media, Harrison Countians dodged major storm damage.
Initial reports were that Northside Elementary had taken a hard hit. However, Assistant Superintendent David Case said he checked after the storm Friday and again on Saturday morning and found no damages.
Harrison County Sheriff Shain Stephens said deputies were out checking the county last night and saw nothing other than a few trees.
County Judge-Executive Alex Barnett also confirmed that no damages were reported in Harrison County.
