  • HCMS FFA makes donation

    Army Pvt. Gary C. Thornberry has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
    During the nine weeks of training, Thornberry studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.

  • Madison Stephens

    Madison M. Stephens of Cynthiana, has been initiated into the Iota Chapter of Phi Upsilon Omicron national honor society at the University of Kentucky.
    Stephens is a student majoring in Merchandising Apparel and Textiles at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Ky.
    Stephens is the daughter of Shain and Rebecca Stephens of Cynthiana.
    Phi Upsilon Omicron recognizes and encourages achieved excellence in scholarship, leadership and service for students in family and consumer sciences and its related areas.
