    Area students have been named to the winter/spring dean’s list at Centre College, an honor reserved for students who maintain at least a 3.60 grade point average.
    Hayley Morgan-Sanders is the daughter of Jill Morgan and Ray Sanders of Cynthiana, and is a graduate of Harrison County High School.
    Alex Cope is the son of William and Sharleen Cope of Sadieville and is a graduate of Scott County High School.

  • Harrison County graduate completes Washington summer internship

    Brooke Razor recently completed a seven-week summer internship in the Washington, D.C., office of United States Congressman Ben Chandler.
    As an intern in Chandler’s office. Razor had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the operations of Congress and its role in the nation’s government.  She was responsible for conducting tours of the Capitol, responding to constituent concerns, researching legislative issues, writing letters and working with staff on issues that affect the nation and Kentucky.
