  • KCTCS and universities collaborating on transfer opportunities

    The Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) and the Council on Postsecondary Education (CPE) are bringing together nearly 175 educators from across the state to discuss transfer opportunities for KCTCS students. Transfer Summit 2.0 will be Wednesday at the KCTCS System Office in Versailles and involves the state’s universities as well as KCTCS colleges.

    BESSON
    Sarah Ruth Besson, a junior special education major from Cynthiana, has been named to the Freed Hardeman University Dean’s List for the Fall 2016 semester. This recognition requires full-time status and a minimum GPA of 3.40 for the semester.
    Freed-Hardeman University, with locations in Henderson, Memphis and Dickson, provides education from a distinctly Christian perspective.

  • KYTC offers scholarships for civil engineering students

    Continuing one of the Commonwealth’s most attractive postsecondary education opportunities, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) will award up to 30 new scholarships for the 2017-2018 school year for students pursuing civil engineering and engineering technology degrees. Interested students must apply by the Feb. 1 deadline.
