• LBAR announces $8.4 million in Harrison County real estate sales in first half of 2017

    Residential real estate sales by members of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of REALTORS® (LBAR) positively impacted the Harrison County economy in first half of 2017 with 76 reported sales totaling $8,426,865. Sales continue to be a driving force in Harrison County economy.

  • Doyle appointed to WoodmenLife recruiting sales manager in Cynthiana

    Jeff Doyle has been appointed WoodmenLife recruiting sales manager for eastern Kentucky, effective June 1, 2017.
    As a recruiting sales manager, serving  Harrison and surrounding counties, Doyle will be responsible for recruiting, training and developing new sales representatives, as well as assisting members in making informed decisions regarding a variety of WoodmenLife insurance and annuity products.
    Doyle is a member of WoodmenLife Chapter 879 in Cynthiana. He is also a Fraternal Insurance Counselor Fellow.

    Paris Therapeutic Interventions is a private practice located at 22 Clinic Drive in Paris, Kentucky. It provides individual, marital, and family therapy for adolescents and adults.

  • HMH radiology receives ACR accreditation in CT services

    The HMH Radiology Department received re-accreditation by the American College of Radiology (ACR) in the Computed Tomography (CT) services. The program is accredited for the 64-Slice GE CT Scanner for adult and pediatric patients.

  • Harrison Memorial Hospital announces new expansion grand opening

    On May 19, 2017, Harrison Memorial Hospital (HMH) will host a rededication and grand opening of its recent multi-million-dollar expansion project and renovation. HMH would like to invite everyone to the HMH grand opening on Friday, May 19. The program begins at 3:30 p.m. at the HMH Front Entrance. Tours of the new area will be offered starting at 4 p.m. Light refreshments and gifts will be provided.

  • HMH ranked 9th in Best Places to Work in Kentucky

    Harrison Memorial Hospital (HMH) was recognized and honored at the Best Places to Work in Kentucky 11th annual Awards Dinner on April 26 at the Lexington Heritage Hall. The final rankings were announced at the event, and HMH ranked ninth out of 29 in the medium business category. For the past seven years, HMH has been ranked five times in the top 10.

    Spring Paper Clover Campaign will help send thousands of KY 4-H students to camps, conferences and youth development programs.

    Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retail store chain in the United States, will partner with National 4-H Council for a nationwide in-store fundraiser to send thousands of students to 4-H youth development programs, camps and leadership conferences across the country.

  • Community Service Block Grant Plan and Budget available for public review

    Community Action Council for Lexington-Fayette, Bourbon, Harrison and Nicholas counties announces that its 2017-2018 Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) Plan and Budget Proposal is available for public review. The plan reflects assessment of low-income community needs and the Council’s CSBG budget for July 1, 2016, through June 30, 2017, as well as projected outcomes for the same period.
