  • The Harrison County Ag Development Board wants to remind all Farmers in Harrison County that the sign-up period for programs in 2010 will end on Monday, April 19 at 4:30 p.m. All applications should be returned to the Harrison County Extension Office.

    ALUMNI BANQUET

    The Buena Vista Alumni Banquet will be held at the First United Methodist Church Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 6 p.m. All former students, teachers, alumni and friends are welcome.

    For reservations call Dorothy Slade at 234-5835 by May 11. The meal will be $13 per person.

  • THURSDAY, April 15

    Resume Writing. Thursday, April 15 from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library. This is a free class provided by the Office of Central Kentucky Career Center.

    Harrison County Historical Society will meet Thursday, April 15 at 7 p.m. at the Library Annex. Northside Elementary School's Fifth Grade History Students will present the program. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.

  • CENTRAL CHRISTIAN

    Barry Wethington, Youth Minister of Central Christian Church, went on a mission trip to Haiti in March. On Sunday, April 25 at 4 p.m., Central will be hosting a slide show from the trip.

    Wethington will share his experiences and answer questions people may have. He has a good in-site as to what is being done and what the needs still are.

    Refreshments will be served after the program.
