    Some blame it on technology itself, although the condition has been around since B.C. — Before Computers.
    For those not familiar with Facebook, it’s a Website where friends, which can be people you actually know or people you might sort of know, post news or random thoughts or pithy messages for their friends and sometimes the general cyber public to read.

  • HOUR OF DELIVERANCE
    The Hour of Deliverance Chapel, 120 Second St., and Pastor William Gaunce, will host a revival May 19 starting at 7 p.m. The guest pastor will be Gaylord Gillispie. There will be special singing each night.

    Cynthiana Board of Adjustment will not meet this month.
    Northside Council. Northside Site Based Council will meet Thursday, May 12 at 3:45 p.m. in the Northside library. The public is invited to attend.

  • Jessica Blount Anness of Cynthiana, daughter of James and Jeanie Anness of Cynthiana, and Christopher Trent Harris of Cynthiana, son of Chris and Kathy Harris of Cynthiana, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
    Anness is a 2001 graduate of Harrison County High School and is employed as a Radiologic Technologist at St. Joseph Hospital.
    Harris is a 1999 graduate of Harrison County High School and is employed as a sales representative for Red Bull.
    The wedding will take place Saturday, May 21 at 4:30 p.m. at Cynthiana Baptist Church.

  • Elora Elizabeth Ecklar of Cynthiana, daughter of Tina and David Ecklar of Cynthiana, and Nathan Todd Williams of Cynthiana, son of Lee Williams and Angie Walters of Cynthiana, announce their November engagement and forthcoming marriage.
    Ecklar is a 2007 graduate of Harrison County High School and is employed by Toddler Village Daycare of Cynthiana.
    Williams is a 2006 graduate of Harrison County High School and is employed by Leggett and Platt of Georgetown, Ky.
