    Movie and Craft. Thursday, Feb. 9 at 4 p.m. for kids of all ages.
    Valentine Craft Session. Thursday, Feb. 9 at 5:30 p.m. for adults. Will be making a heart ornament, your choice of two bookmarks and pizza cookies. Spots are limited so sign up ASAP.
    Northside Council. The Northside Site Based Council will meet Thursday, Feb. 9 at 3:45 p.m. in the school library. The public is invited to attend.
    Cynthiana Board of Adjustment will not meet this month due to no items on the agenda.

  • (ARA) - The concept of reserving one night periodically for a family night is one that goes back generations, whether playing different card games, watching a movie, board games or games that only require creativity, like charades. While those activities are still household staples, family night now involves technology as much as it does creativity - and with family holiday parties coming, finding new and innovative ways to keep everyone entertained are a must.

  • Gene and Sue Lunsford celebrated their 50th year of marriage last summer with an RV trip to Alaska and back via Alaskan Marine Highway Ferry boat to Southern British Columbia. They were married Feb. 10, 1962 in the home of Dr. Charles Stanley, pastor of Fairborn Baptist Church, Fairborn, Ohio.
    They have one child, Chris, who is married to Deanna (Beagle) Lunsford, and three grandchildren, Tamara, Morgyne, and Hayden.

  • Marty and Patty Wiggins of Cynthiana will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, Feb. 14.
    They were married in 1992 at Indian Creek Christian Church, and have two children, Courtney and Andrew.
