  • The descendants of Purnell and Ziporah Toadvine will hold their 78th family reunion on Sunday, July 15 at 1 p.m. at the fellowship hall of Curry United Methodist Church.
    A potluck meal will be served. Plates, napkins, cups and utensils will be furnished. Bring the family, a covered dish and beverage. If you have family pictures, letters, stories or Toadvine history, bring them to share with those attending.

  • The Ruddles Mills Consolidated School reunion (Bourbon County) will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Ruddles Mills Christian Church. Fellowship to begin at 5 p.m. with a potluck meal between 5:30-6 p.m.
    Anyone who has been to Ruddles Mills School (students, teachers, bus drivers and custodians). If you know someone who has never been to the reunion, please contact and invite them.
    Come early and bring a covered dish for a time of fellowship and reminiscing. No reservations necessary.
     

  • CALVARY ASSEMBLY
    Kids Spectacular. Not your typical Vacation Bible School. Calvary Assembly, 325 Webster Ave. (across from the high school), is doing something different this year.
    This high energy, fun filled event will be two nights, June 28 and 29, from 6-8:30. Rachel May from Blue Licks Assembly of God, with Master’s Connection For Kids, will be with us for this event. She brings over 20 years of ministry to Children. Black light puppets, games, biblical teaching and more.
