    On Saturday May 9, Berry United Methodist Church will host a bake sale at the Cynthiana Super Wal-Mart from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be baked goods, hot dogs, pop, and our “Feeding the Flock” Cook Books for sale. We will close earlier if we sell out.

    Sunday, May 10 is Mother’s Day, all churches across Harrison County, including the Berry United Methodist Church, will have a Mother’s Day program at Berry United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. and everyone is welcome to attend.

    Saint Edward Altar Society of Cynthiana, Ky., will hold their third annual Yard Sale May 7, 8, and 9, at the Florence Tobacco Warehouse, Republican Road (Ky 392 and Oddville Pike.     Jacob Scott Wayne Beagle was born to Jessica Fryman and Ronnie Beagle of Cynthiana on Feb. 2, 2009 at Georgetown Community Hospital.

    He weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz., and is welcomed by his brother, Bradlee Beagle, and sisters, Briana Beagle and Kodi Gayle Beagle.

    Maternal grandparents are Susan and Tim Fryman of Cynthiana; maternal great-grandparents are Mary Florence and Dayrl and Marcia Fryman.

    Paternal grandparents are Alva and Keith Beagle of Cynthiana.

    Emma Sue Courtney was born to Matthew Douglas and Virginia Sue Courtney of Berry, Ky. on March 10, 2009 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz.

    Maternal grandparents are Harry G. and Lucinda R. Tilton of Mt. Olivet, Ky.; maternal great-grandparents are Ellison Glenn and Emma Sue Tilton, and Clarence and Gloria Goins.

    Paternal grandparents are Teddy Louis and Mary Francis Courtney of Cynthiana.

  • Sabra Oller of Georgetown, Ky. and Robert Gray Easton II of West Palm Bay, Fla., announce the upcoming nuptials of their daughter, Lauren Olivia Easton, to Aaron Ashley Hutchison, both of Cynthiana, Ky. He is the son of Joe and Ann Hutchison of Cynthiana.

    The wedding will take place in Pikeville, Ky. on June 6, 2009. The couple will reside in Cynthiana.
