  • Fryman-McVey to wed Sept. 24

    Cameron Fryman, along with his grandparents, James and Tammy Fryman of Cynthiana, announces the forthcoming marriage of his mother, Brandi Autumn Fryman, to Randall Alan McVey, son of Glen and Mary Abney of Paris, Ky.
    Fryman is a 2002 graduate of Harrison County High School and received her photography certificate from the New York Institute of Photography in 2007. She is employed as a receptionist at Dan Cummins Chevrolet in Paris.
    McVey is a 1986 graduate of Woodford County High School. He is employed as the produce manager at Ken’s in Paris.

  • Smith-Mills to marry Sept. 10

    Brittane Michelle Smith, Butler, Ky., daughter of Chris and Stephanie Smith of Falmouth, Ky., and Ryan Thomas Mills of Butler, Ky., son of Arnold and Lynn Mills of Cincinnati, Ohio, announce their forthcoming marriage.
    The wedding will take place on Sept. 10, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at  Stonewood Gardens in Falmouth.
    A reception to immediately follow.  Invitations have been sent to family and friends.

  • Fryman-Linville plan October wedding

    Sally Harrington and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Fryman announce the engagement  and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kayla Renae Fryman, to Nathan Scott Linville, son of Charlotte Linville and Robert Linville.
    Fryman is a 2008 graduate of Harrison County High School and is attending Bluegrass Community and Technical College where she will graduate in May 2012 with an Associates of Applied Science in Radiography. She is employed by Movie Warehouse. She is the granddaughter of Roy and Joyce Earlywine of Cynthiana and Geraldine Tolson and Frank Fryman of Carlisle.

  • Democratic Woman’s Club to host Jefferson Jackson Dinner

    The Harrison County Democratic Woman’s Club will host the Jefferson Jackson Dinner with a tribute to John M. Keith Jr. with a dais of: Judge Charles William Kuster Jr.-Master of Ceremonies, L. Andrew Keith, Dr. J. Ashley Keith, K. Bruce Florence, Doug Hampton, and Honorable Douglas Miller on Monday, Sept. 12 at the Cynthiana Country Club. The dinner will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person.

    Harrison Electric Cooperative (RECC) and Blue Grass Energy consolidation plans approved. The name for the consolidation will be Blue Grass Energy Cooperative Corporation.
    Aurora Information Systems, PC Repair, Internet and sales, 105 Joe B. Hall Court, will be holding their grand opening Sept. 8.
