  • Victoria Dianna McLeod

    Victoria Dianna McLeod was born to John and Roberta McLeod of Corinth, Ky., on May 15, 2015 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
    She weighed 8 lbs. 15 oz., and is welcomed by her brothers Joshua and Nathaniel.
    Maternal grandparents are Kenneth and Juanita Slone of Sadieville, Ky.
    Paternal grandparent is Gillian McLeod of Corinth, Ky.

  • HMH Auxiliary donates funds to purchase equipment for patients and staff education

    The Harrison Memorial Hospital (HMH) Auxiliary completed 2014 with raising more than $28,000 for Harrison Memorial Hospital. The HMH Auxiliary has donated more than $37,000 to Harrison Memorial Hospital in 2014 to purchase equipment for patient care and education.
    In May 2014, the HMH Auxiliary purchased a convection oven and range for the dietary department at HMH. In September of 2014, the board purchased 15 sleep chairs for patient rooms on the medical/surgical unit.

    The Northcutt and Whitaker family reunion will be held Sunday, June 7 beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the Curry fellowship building on Upper Curry Road.

    Births announced this week are: Braydon Scott Thomas Gaunce, April 27, son of Scott and Tina Gaunce; Clifford Todd McIlvain, April 29, son of Kim and Jenny McIlvain; Emma Marie Wedding, April 25, daughter of Nathan and Misti Wedding.
    A 1952 Harrison County High School class ring unearthed after missing for 40 years. A Lexington, Ky. woman found the ring while digging in her garden on Judy Lane in Lexington. The ring was returned to the rightful owner.
