Donald D. and Mary Russell Muntz will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on March 20. The couple was married in New Albany, Ind. in 1954.
The Muntz’s have five sons, Greg, Tony, Mark, Brad and Drew; and nine grandchildren, Mary Beth Hill, Brandi Marcum, Clay, Scott, Kacey, Katie, Austin, Blake and Jake Muntz; and four great-grandchildren.
The Woman’s Club of Harrison Country met on Friday, March 14 at the Hospice of the Bluegrass Community Room. Anna Ruth McLoney, president, welcomed members and guests then led the club in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Layne Tussey catered the luncheon. Lottie Barlow offered the blessing of the meal. Barlow also offered the Spiritual Values. She read a poem titled “How to be Happy.” It was an inspirational poem that reaffirms doing something for others makes a positive difference in their lives and ours as well.

Paternal grandparents are Esther Browning of Cynthiana and the late Charles Browning.
