    CUMMINS-ANDERSON
    The Cummins-Anderson reunion will be held Sunday, Aug. 7 at Antioch Mills Christian Church. Utensils, plates, cups and drinks provided. The potluck meal will be served at 1 p.m.

    EARLYWINE
    The annual reunion of the late Harley Earlywine and his siblings, Richard Earlywine, Dora Earlywine Reeves, Jesse Newton Earlywine, James Daniel Earlywine, Roy D. Earlywine, Sally Ethel Earlywine Whirles and Amanda Earlywine Mynear will be held Sunday, Aug. 14 at Blue Licks State Park at the large shelter.

  • Fryman-McVey plan September wedding

    Cameron Fryman, along with his grandparents, James and Tammy Fryman of Cynthiana, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of his mother, Brandi Autumn Fryman, to Randall Alan McVey, son of Glen and Mary Abney of Paris, Ky.
    Fryman is a 2002 graduate of Harrison County High School and received her photography certificate from the New York Institute of Photography in 2007. She is employed as a receptionist at Dan Cummins Chevrolet in Paris.
    McVey is a 1986 graduate of Woodford County High School. He is employed as the produce manager at Ken’s in Paris.

  • Kendall Brooke Perraut

    Kendall Brooke Perraut was born to Brad and Tiffany Perraut of Castle Rock, Colo. on May 21, 2011 at SkyRidge Medical Center in Lone Tree, Colo. She weighed 6 lbs. 12 oz., and is welcomed by her brother Connor Perraut.
    Maternal grandparents are Billy and Diane Hicks.
    Paternal grandparents are Daryl and Charlotte Perraut and Billy and Betty Kearns.
    Great-grandparents are Bill Hicks, Ruby Moses, Ruth Ann Perraut, Ann Chamblian, and Marion and Wanda Zumwalt.

  • Museum Musings

    * Come help us celebrate the 17th anniversary of your Cynthiana-Harrison County Museum, located at the Rohs Theatre Building on South Walnut Street, during regular hours, Friday and Saturday, July 22-23 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    * As it has for several years, WCYN will host Coffee Break from the museum on Friday, July 22. We encourage volunteers to come participate. The museum would not exist if it were not for the faithfulness and dedication of volunteers. Thanks to WCYN for their continued support.

  • Laytart-Peterson wed in double-ring ceremony

    Rebecca Jane Laytart and Paul David Peterson were united in marriage on May 14, 2011, at the home of the bride’s parents.
    Terry Cracraft, uncle of the bride, officiated the double ring ceremony. Raychel Laytart served as maid of honor and Wayne Miller, friend of the groom, served as best man.
    Laytart is the daughter of Donald and Andrea Laytart of Cynthiana. She is a graduate of Maysville Community and Technical College.
    Peterson is the son of Joe and Gayle Peterson of Paris. He is employed by 3M Company in Cynthiana.

  • Grinstead-Muntz exchange vows

    Malcolm and Jane Grinstead announce the marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Lane, to William Bradley Muntz, son of Donald and Mary Russell Muntz. They were united in marriage June 18 at the home of the bride’s parents by the Rev. Patrick Whyte, pastor of Cynthiana Baptist Church.
    After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the bride and groom returned to Cynthiana where they will reside.
