  • Spinosad broad spectrum bio-insecticide

    I have a very small arsenal of insecticides and what I do have are considered bio-insecticides.
    Bio-insecticides are derived from naturally occurring micro-organisms like bacterium. They also include plant oils and compounds (like neem oil which acts as both an insecticide and fungicide), viruses and protozoa. When we use a bio-insecticide we are essentially using nature to eat nature.

    Blue Grass Energy is moving to its new location at 327 Sea Biscuit Way, Cynthiana-Harrison County Business Park on US 62 West.
    A house on Citation Lane, built by Habitat for Humanity, is victim to vandalism as it awaits new owners. The house has sat empty for three years.

    The Northcutt reunion will be held Sunday, June 5 at the Curry Methodist Church fellowship building beginning at 12:30 p.m. Bring your family and food to share.

    Food Service Program
    The Harrison County Board of Education is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
    Meals will be provided at a first come, first serve basis, at the sites and times as follows:
    • River Road Ball Park - June 6-July 29 from 12-12:30 p.m.
