    Shakers and the Civil War. Thursday, June 21 at 7 p.m. at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library. Presented by Susan Hughes from Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill. This is a joint presentation of the public library and the Harrison County Historical Society.
    FRIDAY, June 22
    HCHS Marching Band Fundraiser. The event will take place Friday and Saturday, June 22 and 23 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the old  HA Jones parking lot, Cynthiana. Yard sale, crafts, vendors are welcome. Call 859-298-4796 for a spot. Cost is $25.

    Books and BBQ. Thursday, June 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library. Come learn how to make a delicious BBQ sauce and learn what the different ingredients can do. Dads and their children are especially encouraged to attend. Pre-registration is required.
    Berry City Commission will meet Thursday, June 14 at 7 p.m., at Berry City Hall. The meetings are open to the public.

    Young Eagles. Free plane rides for kids age 8-17 on Saturday, June 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Airport. A registration form must be signed by a parent or guardian. For more information call Jeana at 859-588-1359.

    Free Zumbathon. Curves of Cynthiana is having a free Zumbathon on Saturday, June 2 from 10-noon. Anyone is invited and do not have to be a Curves member. Any donation will go to Relay for Life.
