“The Hour of Power” Radio Ministry, aired weekly on Saturday mornings on 90.7 FM (The Wind), at 10-11 a.m.

The Rev. Don Fryman will bring a message each week along with special music by various singers across Harrison County and surrounding counties.

UNION BAPTIST

Watch-Night services will be held Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. at Union Baptist Church. Special singing by the Bluegrass Gospel  Travelers, Kathy Hess, Don Powell, Thunder Ridge, and special guest Ashley Simpson.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

Story Hour. There will be no Story Hour Friday, Dec. 26 or Friday, Jan. 2 at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library.

TUESDAY, Dec. 30

AARP Driver Safety Program. Earn a discount on automobile insurance premiums by attending the six-hour class on Tuesday, Dec. 30 at 9 a.m. at the Cynthiana Presbyterian Church. The program is a classroom course for drivers 50 and over. A $10 fee covers the course expenses. Seating is limited. Pre-register by calling the church at 859-234-2961. Plan to bring a sandwich.
