    UNITY CHRISTIAN

    Unity Christian Church will be having a spaghetti dinner Saturday, Feb. 13 at 6 p.m. Meal will be sponsored by the church youth group. Donations will be excepted and will be given to Haiti.

    This is American Heart Month. Sunday is Wear Red day. Pictures will be taken and sent in for the Go Red Campaign.There will be a reception on Feb. 22 at the Cynthiana Christian Church from 5-6:30 p.m.

    ASSOCIATION

    The Harrison County Ministerial Association and Champions for a Drug Free Harrison County Essay Scholarship contest is open to any senior in any high school including home school with all passing grades in Harrison County.     Hardware Russ Storyteller. Thursday, Feb. 4 at 5:30 p.m. at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library. Russ Conrad of Falmouth is an entertainment storyteller. He has worked in the family owned hardware store in Falmouth for over 50 years. The program is free and open to the public.

    Bookmobile. The Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library Bookmobile will be available Thursday, Feb. 4 at 10:30 a.m. in Claysville; 2:30 p.m. at Edgemont; and from 3-3:30 p.m. at White Oak.

    “The Hour of Power” Radio Ministry, aired weekly on Saturday mornings on 90.7 FM (The Wind), at 10-11 a.m.

    The Rev. Don Fryman will bring a message each week along with special music by various singers across Harrison County and surrounding counties.

    UPPER ROOM GOSPEL

    Gene Johns of Lexington, Ky., will be the guest speaker on Sunday, Jan. 31 at 6 p.m. at Upper Room Gospel Church, US 27 S. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Britt Kennerly will be on hand to sign and answer questions about her new book Images of America: Cynthiana. Books will be available for purchase the night of the event. Refreshments will be served.
