    Benefit Concert featuring Chasen at the Deming High School gym on Thursday, March 25. Doors open at 5:30, concert starts at 7 p.m. Pre order tickets at (606) 584-7066 before March 20 - $8; at the door or after March 20 - $10. All proceeds go toward the Bill Emmons Burial Fund, Speed the Light, and Local Missions.

    Men's Book Group. Thursday, March 25 at 5:30 p.m. The book "Animal Farm" by George Orwell is now available for pickup at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library. Refreshments will be served.

    Antioch Mills Christian Church in Berry will sponsor an Easter Art Show on Easter Sunday, April 4. Participants can prepare a drawing or a painting with five different age divisions. Cash prizes for the winners will be awarded.

     All works should be based on Luke 23:26-49.

    The Story of Maggie Delaney. Thursday, March 18 at 7 p.m. Presented by the Harrison County Historical Society and the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library in the library annex. The story of Maggie Delaney who was forced from Ireland, along with her family, who came to the American colonies as an Indentured Servant hoping to find a better life in the 17th and 18th centuries. Instead, she found sorrow and hardship as a “white slave” forced to serve whatever master bought her. (Recommended for ages over 12).

    Berry City Commission will meet Thursday, March 11 at 7 p.m., at Berry City Hall. The meetings are open to the public.

    Women’s Book Club selection for the month of March is The Yada Yada Prayer Group by Neta Jackson. The book is available for pick-up at the front desk of the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library. Meeting is Thursday, March 11 at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

    Cynthiana Board of Adjustment will not meet Thursday, March 11 due to no items on the agenda.
