    Cynthiana Board of Adjustment will meet Thursday, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. in the Planning Commission Office at the Harrison County Courthouse, South Main Street. The meetings are open to the public.

    Berry City Commission will meet Thursday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m., at Berry City Hall. The meetings are open to the public.

    Berry United Methodist Church will host a bake sale on Saturday, Oct. 9 at the Cynthiana Walmart from 8  a.m. to 3 p.m., and also downtown Cynthiana at the Pulled Pork Cook Off, with a large variety of baked goods. We will close earlier if we sell out.

    Berry United Methodist “Feeding the Flock Cook Book” will also be available.

    The Church of God, Webster Avenue, will hold a yard sale Oct. 1 and 2 beginning at 9 a.m. Will be selling chili dogs and soft drinks. Proceeds will go towards Christmas gifts for the children.
