    HCHS Class of 1957. The Harrison County High School Class of 1957 will meet at Biancke’s on Oct. 17 at noon.

    Ghost Walk. Thursday, Oct. 6 at 9 p.m. By special arrangement Rohs Opera House will offer a Ghost Walk which will depart from the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library at 9 p.m. Cost will be $9 per person.
    Northside Council. Northside Site Based Council will hold a special meeting Thursday, Oct. 6 at 3:45 p.m. in the school library. The public is invited to attend.

Come enjoy quality homegrown entertainment: Larry Tucker on mandolin, guitar, dobro and bass; Terry Power on stand up bass and guitar; Herbert Franklin on banjo, fiddle, mandolin and guitar; Rankin Hatfield on guitar. All four members were born and raised in Harrison County.

Learn how to preserve precious family treasures and artifacts such as documents, photos, uniforms, quilts, and films. Presented by Deirdre Scaggs Associate Dean of UK Libraries.  Hosted by the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library and the Harrison County Historical Society. This is a free event.

    Women’s Book for the Month of September is The Birth of Venus by Sarah Dunant. Will be meeting Thursday, Sept. 1 at 6 p.m. Copies of the book are available at the front desk of the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library.
    The KY-ASAP Awards Luncheon will be held Thursday, Sept. 1 at noon at Bianke’s Restaurant. The Kentucky Agency for Substance Abuse Policy Board will be recognizing community volunteers who have been instrumental in the elimination of substance abuse.
