    Harrison County Community Health Fair will be held April 5 at Harrison County Middle School from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. for free screenings and tests, including checks for cholesterol and blood glucose. Male participants can receive free PSA tests to screen for prostate cancer.

    Senior Bingo. Thursday, March 29 at 11 a.m. Senior adults can play Bingo at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library. Prizes will be household items. Space is limited and pre-registration is not required. Participation is on a first come basis.
    Literacy Bell Celebration. Thursday, March 29 at 5:30 p.m. at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library to celebrate kindergarten and first grade students in our community who have learned how to read.

    THURSDAY, March 22
    Historical Society. The Harrison County Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting on March 22 at 7 p.m. at the Bluegrass Care Navigators (Hospice), 1317 U.S. Hwy. 62 East. Enter the rear door. The meeting will focus on the evolution of the Whitaker-Hall House. Both are late 18th century houses, one log and the other stone. The Hall House, located in Harrison County, was dismantled and moved to join with the Whitaker House of Scott County. This will be something you will not want to miss.

    Harrison County Go Red Celebration. The annual Go Red Celebration will be held at the Harrison County Extension Office on Feb. 22. The speaker will be Dr. B.K. Srivastava, HMH Cardiologist.
