• Hope has been my thing, lately

    Although grace is free, hope recently cost me $8 on Etsy, the Website where people sell their handiwork.
    For $8 I bought a wire bracelet that forms the word “hope,” which I’ve been wearing all week.

    As I write this article, the University of Kentucky Wildcat basketball team is experiencing an undefeated season. Every fan has a favorite Wildcat player of the ten who platoon under Coach Calipari’s system.
    Recently a close friend gave me a book entitled “Daily Devotions for Die-Hard Fans.” In one chapter, the author lists who he thought were the ten best University of Kentucky players.

    I went to a mission conference once where I heard a story about a pastor in another country with a rural church.
    He was prompted by the Lord to pull over and to preach to a cow on his way to church.
    I know this sounds absolutely crazy, but wait until you hear what happened.
