The Young Eagles program will host its 10th annual free flights event this Saturday at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Airport.
“It’s just a lot of fun for us and the kids too,” said Bobby Craft, president of the local airport board. “It’s a chance for kids to get up in the air and see what it looks like... maybe even spark an interest in flying.”
Beginning at 10 a.m., children ages seven to 17 will be given free airplane rides by local pilots.
Craft said 198 kids received airplane rides last year.
