The large number of schools participating has caused the wrestling region to be changed to a Friday night and Saturday format. Friday night starts at 6 p.m.; Saturday at 10 a.m.
Harrison County will have four wrestlers in the top four seeds in their weight classes along with 11 others who will compete in hopes of grabbing some points for the Thorobreds.
At 103 pounds, Anthony Shirley is a third seed with a 31-11 won loss record. Shirley is a sophomore in his second year of varsity competition and has been one of the most dependable wrestlers all year, according to Coach Russ Riegel’s assessment of his wrestlers.
