Wreath-laying Ceremony

Wreath-laying Ceremony. In observance of Memorial Day, the Citizens Committee for the Commemoration of Veterans Day and Memorial Day for Cynthiana and Harrison County, Ky., will be conducting a wreath-laying ceremony at the old courthouse in downtown Cynthiana at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 26. This years speaker is Heather Phelps, wife of Staff Sergeant James Phelps. Phelps is serving with the 201st Engineer Company from the Cynthiana-Harrison County Kentucky Army National Guard Armory and is deployed to Afghanistan in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
